Oil Company, Octavus Denies Allegation of Selling Max Air Contaminated Jet Fuel

Octavus Petroleum Limited has denied the allegations of selling contaminated jet fuel to Max Air Limited.

In a statement signed by Peter Dia, General Manager of the company, Octavus said there is no evidence that Octavus oil caused the “reported incidents”.

According to Octavus, he managed to supply almost 90% of the fuel used by Max Air planes to transport Hajj pilgrims, adding that these planes are still flying without any problems.The company stated that its equipment is being flown about 100 feet per day, at the rate of one flight every 10 minutes, with no reports of complaints about the quality of the fuel.
